You name it I do it. This is the amazing thing about owning a window treatment company. On any given day I could be up on an extension ladder programming motorized shades, meeting with a local HTR realtor welcoming their clients to Clayton or installing designer roller shades in a barn. I have worked for a national blind manufacturer as well as a local plantation shutters manufacturer. I am called the blind lady and the blind whisperer. I get to see first hand what is coming into our local communities because we are designing their window treatments before they even break ground. We are on course to double our sales from last year. It is an exciting time to be in the new construction design world!
I love our community, our relationships and my team!

Meet Makenna, Administrative Assistant
I am the administrative assistant for Clayton Blinds and absolutely loves it! I enjoy being a part of this amazing local business and can't wait to see what's in store for Clayton and for CB&D.
In my spare time, you can find me performing at nearby theaters or possibly dressed as a princess for children's birthday parties! Me and my husband live in Clayton with our puppy and cat, and hope to be moving into our own tiny house soon.
Meet Mike, Installation Specialist
From Brooklyn to Archers Lodge. Ah Geeze.... Micheal Simonetti was a client of ours that had just moved south and was new to our ways here in Clayton. After installing his amazing custom barn wood blinds he became a friend and we knew with his "ocd" tendencies that he would make the perfect installer.
Mike has the 3 things that are required to be an installer for Clayton Blinds:
An eye for detail,
These are personality traits that can't be taught.
Mike also loves Sports and refereeing Softball when he is not spending time in NY or with family. His house is THE HOUSE at Christmas and Halloween!

Meet Manuel and Justin, Shutter Team
There is absolutely nothing these guys can't do.
Manuel is the Shutter Whisperer and can work magic. Don't let Justin's youth fool you. He has studied as an apprentice under Manuel for years. They have seen it all and done it all. We design the plantation shutters. They are manufactured in High Point North Carolina and Justin and Manuel bring them directly from the manufacturing floor to your home. Plantation Shutters are like custom furniture for your windows and should be installed by experts like our team.
